Shortly after his election victory, President-elect Donald J. Trump encountered Maryland Governor Wes Moore, a prominent Democrat, as they navigated the corridors of Northwest Stadium in Landover, Maryland, to attend the annual Army-Navy football game.
The governor warmly welcomed him, expressing enthusiasm for his return.
“Mr. President, welcome back to Maryland, sir! It’s great to see you again,” Governor Moore said. “We’re very eager to collaborate with you.”
President-elect Trump responded with a compliment, noting, “You’re a good-looking guy.”
Governor Moore then referenced ongoing infrastructure efforts, highlighting the reconstruction of the Francis Scott Key Bridge near Baltimore, which had collapsed earlier that year.
This cordial exchange was captured for the documentary series "Art of the Surge," now available on Fox Nation. The series provides an intimate look at the admiring environment surrounding Mr. Trump since reclaiming political influence, revealing how he is surrounded by individuals eager to gain his favor—including some unexpected allies.
At one point inside the VIP box at the football game, Hollywood producer Brian Grazer poses for a photo with the president-elect and reveals to onlookers that he cast his vote for the Republican candidate.
