Forget shaking off online chatter; Taylor Swift’s current approach is to simply avoid the internet altogether.
On a recent episode of "New Heights," a podcast centered on football and culture hosted by her boyfriend Travis Kelce and his brother Jason, Swift shared exciting updates about her forthcoming album, "The Life of a Showgirl." She revealed the tracklist, release date, and the producers involved during the nearly two-hour conversation.
Beyond music, Swift opened up about personal matters rarely discussed publicly, including her father’s health, her newfound passion for baking sourdough bread, and the football knowledge she's gained while supporting Kelce and his Kansas City Chiefs teammates.
Perhaps most striking was Swift’s candid admission about managing the relentless attention online. At this stage in her career, she confessed that she chooses not to engage with it.
“I’m not really an online person anymore,” Swift explained, admitting she avoids reading her direct messages out of apprehension.
“There’s basically smoke pouring out of my DMs,” she joked. “I just don’t want to deal with that.”
