Mohammad Bahareth was visibly excited as he waited in an opulent ballroom in Riyadh for President Trump's arrival.
Wearing a distinctive “Trump 2028” cap, Bahareth stood out among a crowd where Saudi men donned traditional red-and-white checkered headscarves alongside Americans dressed in formal suits.
A Saudi influencer in the self-help community, Bahareth once hesitated to seek public attention. However, he credits Trump's candid confidence and pragmatic approach with inspiring him. Today, he boasts 1.5 million Instagram followers, owns a Tesla, and proudly supports the former U.S. president.
“He speaks his mind without worrying about others' opinions,” Bahareth said on Tuesday during Trump’s address at a Saudi-U.S. business forum. “Trump encourages being authentic.”
Bahareth, 40, is among many Saudis who admire the American leader.
Trump's visit to Saudi Arabia on Tuesday and Wednesday marked the first leg of his significant foreign tour during his second term. His arrival generated considerable attention in the kingdom, where he praised Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, highlighted securing hundreds of billions of dollars in U.S. investments, and surprised observers by announcing the lifting of American sanctions on Syria.
