Christian Trump Supporters Launch Campaign Accusing Jews of Antisemitism Amid Pro-Israel Advocacy

A recent fundraising proposal from a prominent conservative think tank outlined a campaign aimed at dismantling what it describes as a subversive movement threatening the fabric of the United States.

The campaign's presentation featured an image of a pyramid topped by so-called 'progressive elites,' including Jewish billionaires like philanthropist George Soros and Illinois Governor JB Pritzker. This imagery invokes a longstanding antisemitic stereotype portraying wealthy Jewish individuals as secret puppet masters, with Soros frequently cast in this role within modern conspiracy theories.

This initiative, known as Project Esther, targets the pro-Palestinian movement in the U.S., broadly defining it to include nearly all efforts aimed at shifting American foreign policy toward a less Israel-centric stance, even encompassing progressive Jewish voices.

Project Esther's strategy explicitly conflates criticism of Israeli government policies with antisemitism, dismissing longstanding assertions that such criticism does not inherently equate to antisemitic sentiment. The campaign asserts that supporters of Palestine and Hamas who have maintained this distinction are, at best, disingenuous.

The campaign further describes its adversaries as a 'Hamas Support Network' that allegedly exploits America's open society, manipulates the education system, influences the media, co-opts federal institutions, and relies on complacency within the American Jewish community. This broad categorization targets both radical groups and mainstream liberals, blurring distinctions between diverse political perspectives.

Most architects of Project Esther are Christian Americans collaborating with Israeli officials, yet some individuals singled out by the campaign are Jewish themselves, underscoring the complex and contentious dynamics at play.
